History's most celebrated scientist received many accolades among which one of the more obscure is the naming of Element No. 99 after him. Unfortunately, Einstein died a few months prior to the acceptance of the name.
The discovery of Einsteinium occurred principally through deductive analysis following the discovery of plutonium and later confirmed by flying a plane through the mushroom cloud of an atomic test and looking for new elements.
As with all the other transuranic cubes, this one features an embedded photograph and captions the date of discovery.
