Luciteria Science specializes in providing elemental materials and scientific specimens for educational, research, and collection purposes. Many of the materials we sell possess physical and chemical properties that require proper knowledge and safe handling.

By purchasing or using products from Luciteria Science, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Intended Use

Products sold by Luciteria Science are intended for:

  • Educational use
  • Scientific research
  • Laboratory reference
  • Display
  • Element collections

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our products are not intended for:

  • Human consumption
  • Medical applications
  • Pharmaceutical use
  • Veterinary use
  • Cosmetic use

Hazardous Materials

Customer Responsibilities

Storage

Many elemental materials require special storage conditions.

Examples include:

Failure to store materials properly may result in deterioration, oxidation, fire hazards, leakage, or other dangerous conditions.

Customers are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate storage conditions.

Sealed Ampoules

Some products are supplied in sealed glass ampoules.

Glass ampoules:

  • May break if dropped or mishandled.
  • May contain materials under vacuum or inert gas.
  • Should not be opened unless appropriate laboratory procedures are followed.
  • May produce sharp glass fragments if broken.

Handle all glass products carefully.

Reactive Metals

Certain metals react rapidly with air, moisture, or water.

These materials may:

  • Ignite spontaneously.
  • Generate hydrogen gas.
  • Produce heat.
  • Form hazardous reaction products.

Customers should understand the handling requirements of reactive metals before purchase or use.

Unless specifically stated on a product listing, Luciteria Science does not provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs), laboratory reports, or assay documentation.

Luciteria Science cannot supervise or control how products are handled after delivery.

Accordingly, Luciteria Science, Periodic LLC, and its owners, employees, and affiliates assume no responsibility for injuries, illnesses, property damage, environmental damage, regulatory violations, or other losses arising from:

  • Improper handling
  • Improper storage
  • Improper transportation
  • Misuse
  • Modification of products
  • Failure to follow appropriate safety practices
  • Failure to comply with applicable laws

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all products are used entirely at the purchaser's own risk.
