Krypton is quite rare and pricey. Though there's a little in every lungful of air you take, the companies that concentrate it have to suck in prodigious amounts of air to extract decent quantities. Unlike helium, breathing in krypton would make your voice considerably deeper turning any shrill-voiced guy sound into an instant Barry White sound-alike for a few seconds.

This gas gives an elegant and bright aqua colored glow when ionized.
