These delicate glass ampules hold a small amount of pure chlorine gas that under pressure forms a viscous, yellow liquid. Great care must be taken to avoid dropping it onto a hard surface. While the amount of chlorine released will quickly dissipate given enough ventilation the liquid is nevertheless highly corrosive and is likely to permanently stain whatever it comes in contact with. That, and the loss of an expensive collectible!

Also available as a regular gas and at low-pressure which will glow when placed next to a plasma globe or Tesla coil.
