Zinc is a cheap metal. Way to try to sell product but it's true. It's the metal you think of when visualizing the roofs of a shantytown. It's the humble innards just under the surface of a penny because otherwise a penny that is copper to the core would cost a pretty penny. It mostly gets a bad rap because it weathers poorly so that it tarnishes quickly in air and often corrodes completely.

Packaged in clean room conditions, our zinc sample will at least get to you fully free of oxides and should remain that way indefinitely as long as it stays in the package (handle with just washed hands to avoid tarnishing).
