It’s with some trepidation that we list bare ampules of bromine for sale. Despite being a favorite of collectors, this element poses some significant dangers in its handling. Left int he open even small amounts can cause rapid choking and eye wateriness as the liquid evaporates and combines chemically with anything it touches.

Even though it is cheaper, unless you are prepared to treat this chemical with the special care it deserves to avoid breaking the glass (or know what to do with it in the event you do want to break it intentionally) we highly recommend you consider the same ampule embedded in acrylic which you can find on the Lucite Cubes section with its nearly carefree handling.

For avid enthusiasts however we now offer a limited number of these ampules which will come in a special canister dampened inside an inner box to avoid rupture even if the parcel is mishandled in transit.
