History's most celebrated scientist received many accolades among which one of the more obscure is the naming of Element No. 99 after him. Unfortunately, Einstein died a few months prior to the acceptance of the name.

The discovery of Einsteinium occurred principally through deductive analysis following the discovery of plutonium and later confirmed by flying a plane through the mushroom cloud of an atomic test and looking for new elements.
