So practically nobody uses pure iron for anything. Yet, according to one industry report, a growing number of old school blacksmiths are requesting the pure stock for specialty projects like gates and artwork. Why? Because it turns out that purified iron resists rusting \u003cem\u003ebetter \u003c\/em\u003ethan ordinary grades of steel.
